Announcing 2008 Call for Papers
6th International Workshop on Frontiers of Information Technology -- FIT 2008

International Workshop on Frontiers of Information Technology has emerged as a leading
forum for IT professionals and researchers of Pakistan. For five consecutive years
it has provided opportunity to share and discuss the latest research trends and
results in the field of Information Technology. FIT 2008, commencing on 18-19 December
2008, promises to be another exciting event that will broaden the research horizons
by providing international research collaborations. FIT 2008 will have the honor
to host leading IT researchers not only from Pakistan but also from rest of the
world. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Communication and Networking
- Grid Computing
- Artificial Intelligence
- IT Security
- Educational Technology
- Information & Communication Technologies in the developing countries
- Distributed and Collaborative Computing
- GIS & IT Applications
- Business Intelligence
- Bioinformatics and Health Informatics
IT researchers and practitioners with interest in any of the above stated research
areas are invited to submit their original unpublished papers (maximum 14 pages,
single column, single spaced, 1 inch margins all around, 12 pt font) latest by July
31, 2008. Submitted paper will go through intensive peer review process on the criteria
of originality and relevance of work.
In addition the workshop proceedings will include invited visionary papers and presentations
